red cherry loooove

Lately I have been really into wearing false lashes. I found these babies at a small boutique for $1.99 and I had to try them. So far I have only Red Cherry's #99 lashes which are perfect for a more natural look. It looks as if you have the perfect lengthening & defining mascara. :] I have been wearing these almost everyday when I go out for the past two weeks. I love how thin the band is because it feels comfortable. However, I think because the band is thin it also loses shape pretty quickly. I don't know if it's because of the thin band or if it's because I use it everyday or what. Like I said I just started using false lashes so I'm still learning as I go. hehe But yeah so far, it's love. :]

awww.. yupyup! that's me & my new babyy. haha my girl's boyfriend was selling puppies. &i knew the boothangg has been wanting a pitbull so they gave my a puppy for free. he's probably about a month and half old but he's HELLAAA chubby. he's such a cutie.. i'm in love haha so this is his first car ride..

so i know i haven't posted in awhile, i'm usually either busy or sleepy. i've been shopping for school supplies, things for my dorm, and sometimes a few makeup products. just recently i've been into false lashes. so far i'm really like the red cherry lashes because the band is so thin and comfortable! i'll try to post a review & some pictures later. :] byee!

A for Tesa =P

Finally, my last day of summer class. And to make the day even sweeter, I got an A! Oh my guli, my first A in English since grade school. I didn't know it was possible... I stared at my teacher's grade book for a good three minutes. :] So damn proud. Yes, I am. In celebration, my mama took me to lunch at Chili's. Their 2 for $20 deal is hecka bomb. We were hellaaaa full. Then we ran some errands. When we got home, I picked up some okio grape gummies. Those are the shit. I could live off those the whole day. & They're made of 100% grape juice. Love it.

So I've been buying even more makeup the past couple weeks, so maybe I'll post some pictures and reviews later. :]

tesa's back!

Ooowee.. it's been a VERY LONG minute since I've even logged on this thing lol My bad.. but good news. I actually conquered senioritis & graduated high school. Yay tesa! :] Graduation was hecka bomb, I never felt so excited before. I loved how every time I looked down there was a new card or present in my hand. Good shit.. :]

So yeah finals was a pain in the butt. Then right after graduation I went to Georgia to visit some relatives. Which explains why I didn't really get to blog. Boooo. And I've had soooo many hauls that I never got to share on here. During prom season I did a couple of my girls' makeup so maybe I'll try to redo the look & maybe do picture tutorials or something. However look at what new is taking up my time..

I went to Longs yesterday with the intention of picking up some NYX products, but they didn't have any. =[ I was so sad. But I still picked up some other stuff..

Valentine's Day is right around the corner! So yes, I still like to buy valentine cards haha. They're so cute! They even come with stickers lol I'm such a kid still. When I was looking through the valentine's section I saw a bunch of cute stuff. I couldn't resist not grabbing the coupon book, "whimsical ways to say 'I love you'" is what it says on the bottom. It would be a cute gift for the boothangg, &inexpensive too! Can't go wrong. I even saw the dice set that tells you what to do & where. Like kiss lips at the stairs, or something like that haha. Interesting shit. Then I picked up the CG Blossoms Quad, which would be perfect for a valentine's look. Its got pretty shades of pink & purple. &i had been eyeing the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation so I finally grabbed it since I needed a new foundation anyway. I got it in Dark 0 Toffee, which is a new shade, & it fits me hella perfectly! Love it love it love it! After a couple more uses, I'll write a review. Hmm.. I need a new pressed powder, the two I have is a shade too light & a shade too dark. So sometimes I have to blend both together... ghetto.

It's been a minute since my last post haha. But anywho senioritis has a hold on me so I thought I'd write up a review as I procrastinate. lol So here goes..

CoverGirl Smoothers SPF 15 Tinted Moisture

3 out of 5 stars

Pros:

+ Evens out my skin

+ Has SPF 15

+ Oil Free

+ Doesn't cause me to break out

+ Gives me a "natural glow"

+ Affordable at around $8

Cons:

- Hard to blend

- Hard to find my shade in stores

- Poor coverage

So basically..

This stuff is alright. I use it everyday for a natural look since I'm usually too lazy to put on foundation. It doesn't give a lot of coverage, but I'm not trippin since my skin isn't all too bad. I just gotta apply concealer first. It does a good job of evening out my skin. However it's really hard to blend, so I usually mix it with my daily moisturizer. Hmm.. it has an impressive lasting power for a drugstore brand. It lasts for pretty much the whole day. It hasn't made me break out, & my skin can be pretty sensitive. In the end this stuff is alright especially for a drugstore brand, but I can't really say I'm in love.
